How Parasites Think
Parasites in humans take various sizes, BPS 5 Reviewshapes and forms and can be microscopic or clearly visible. The common types are protozoa, helminths and ectoparasites. Helminths are the worms that live within the body of their human host and include tapeworms, pinworms, and roundworms. Protozoa are also internal parasites which live inside the body of the human host mainly in the intestines and include the giardia and cryptosporidium. Ectoparasites live outside the body of the human host and feed of the skin and blood. They include fleas, mites, lice, bacteria and jiggers.
At any one moment, the human body is occupied by millions of microscopic parasites that feed off dead skin, scalp tissue and blood. Parasites in humans may go for years unnoticed because their existence in the host has no major impact on the person. However, the numbers of the parasites may grow exponentially leading to symptoms like abdominal pain, constant itching of the skin or scalp, pimples, headaches, increased appetite and fatigue. The manifestation of such symptoms means that a doctor's appointment is inevitable else the parasites negatively affect your health.
